3rd Generation Owners 2015-Present

On November 1st, 1964 Lawson and Audrey Miller purchased Pearson Oil and Coal, Co. in Clarinda, IA which they renamed Miller Oil and Coal, Co.  Along with the fuel and coal delivery services early in 1965, they leased their first gas station. It was located on Washington Street in Clarinda where Snyder's Auto is currently located. They later purchased it along with one more  in Bedford right next door to the Frosty Treat. Lawson and Audrey had 3 children, Larry, Steve, and Kathy who all took part in running the business throughout their teenage years as well as throughout their early adulthood. 

 Lawson passed in 1974, and shortly after Audrey employed their oldest son Larry to run the operations side of things. In 1981 Miller Oil, Inc. by then had added Lloyds Conoco Bulk plant to their list of 'things to have' as Audrey would put it.

In 1987 Debi took on 2 days a week in the office and Audrey took on less with  the other 3. Audrey helped raise her grandkids "The 1976 babies" as she called them, with more to come at the office, it was nothing for her to have one of her lap reading a book and a phone in the other hand taking a customers order.  Audrey fully retired after 32 years in the business in 1996 when Larry and Debi purchased the business in full. Debi took over the office and helped raise her grandbabies in the same fashion as Audrey had.  Larry continued to run the operations side of things and Debi kept up with the book work. Debi passed in 2010 and Larry then partially retired in 2012. That is when Josey stepped in to run the business.  Larry passed in 2015 and at that time Josey and Stephanie along with their 3 children Marshal, Brodie and Timber purchased Miller Oil and proudly still own it today. 

To say we are "family owned and operated," is the truest of statements.
